The construction area of the project is located in the east of the bay of Bengal, and the main works include: a single point mooring system (SPM), including subsea manifold; pipeline station and tank farm (PSTF), including crude oil tanks and diesel tanks with a net capacity of 240000 cubic meters; two 36 inch onshore and subsea concomitant oil pipelines from SPM to PSTF; two 18 inch onshore and subsea concomitant oil pipelines from PSTF to refinery; three block valve chambers; SCADA and communication system. The contract period of the project is 36 months and the contract amount is 550.4 million US dollars. After the completion of the project, the unloading time of 100000 tons of crude oil can be shortened from 11 days to 2.5 days, which can avoid environmental pollution caused by crude oil leakage, reduce the loss caused by crude oil transportation, and save 120 million US dollars per year. This project is of great significance to the implementation of “the Belt and Road” initiative and the construction of “Bangladesh China India Myanmar” economic corridor.
