近日，我国第一口位于海底的二氧化碳封存回注井正式开钻，这标志着我国初步形成了海上二氧化碳注入、封存和监测的全套钻完井技术和装备体系，填补了我国海上二氧化碳封存技术的空白。
二氧化碳封存回注，就是通过工程技术手段，把捕集到的二氧化碳注入至地下800米—3500米深度范围内的陆上或海底咸水层，是国际公认的促进碳减排措施。
我国这口回注井投产后，所在区域的海上钻井平台在开采油气过程中，产生的二氧化碳将被采集，规模化向海底地层注入。工作人员测算，预计高峰阶段每年可封存二氧化碳30万吨，累计封存二氧化碳150万吨以上。
今后这口封存回注井不仅仅可以封存海上平台开采油气时产生的二氧化碳，还可以帮助封存沿海一些高排放企业生产中产生的二氧化碳，帮助粤港澳大湾区实现绿色低碳发展。
