没有谁天生能扛，只是后退的成本太高。
乌干达的雨季，河水涨得比预想更快。
EACOP项目乌干达段施工中，36湿地与KP147大河是两道绕不开的关。前者水草疯长、淤泥深不见底；后者河面宽阔、水流湍急，管线下穿规划铁路，施工难度远超常规路段。更要命的是雨季——短时暴雨频发，河水持续上涨，围堰渗漏、溃坝风险陡增。工期不等人，河水更不等人。
项目部决定：夜间施工，抢在下一场大雨之前。
夜幕降临，大河两岸灯火亮起。挖掘机轰鸣着加固围堰，水泵不间断抽排积水。工人们轮班作业，焊花在夜色中格外明亮。河岸一侧抽水清淤，另一侧同步进行管道焊接与下沟。安全管理人员全程旁站，技术人员实时监测水位与坝体数据。每一步都踩在雨季的节奏上——快，但不能乱。
这不是第一次与河水赛跑。此前围堰已两次被洪水冲损，团队连夜调配物资、加固坝体，硬是抢了回来。这一次，他们带着同样的韧劲，从深夜干到天明。
天亮时分，最后一节管道平稳入沟。河水依旧湍急，但管线已经过去了。
管线继续向前。雨季还在，但没有什么能拦住它延伸的方向。
