美拉德源自化学中的美拉德反应，是一种食物在加热过程中发生的非酶褐变反应。“美拉德”风引申到配色上，即是以食物为灵感的焦糖、棕褐、橘红、金棕等颜色代表今年最流行的“美拉德风格”。
