截至6月18日，吉林油田新能源发电量累计突破5亿千瓦时，绿电替代创效达1.9亿元，减少碳排放近39万吨，全油田1/4生产用电实现了清洁替代。
当前，面对高质量发展的要求，国内传统油气企业积极转型升级。预计到2035年，国内发电总装机将突破63亿千瓦，可再生能源占比77%。
2023年，吉林油田利用风光资源，立足自身资源禀赋，在狠抓油气稳产上产的同时，全力进军新能源业务领域，加快实现绿色低碳转型发展，在中国石油范围内率先启动了15万千瓦风光发电项目，充分发挥自身电网及消纳优势，全面推进吉林绿色协同发展示范基地建设。
今年年初以来，启动了15万千瓦自消纳项目增容和新建产能绿电配套工程，计划在新木、乾安、大情字等地区新增5万千瓦风光互补发电项目，形成局部自消纳微电网。这些项目建成后，年上网电量可增加超过1万千瓦时，“绿电”占比将由24%提高到32%。
作为中国石油首个大规模绿电自消纳项目，15万千瓦风光发电项目自2023年3月全部投产、并网运行以来，整个项目累计装机容量达178兆瓦，所发电量全部用于油气生产自消纳，达到了预期的减排效果，获得了良好的经济效益。
