7月15日，位于雄安新区安新县人民政府东北侧的地热试验井——安热1井正式开钻。这口地热井设计井深4500米，由中国石油华北油田具体实施，完钻后不仅是雄安新区、更是河北省内最深地热井。

安新县境内蕴藏丰富的地热资源，按照油田前期资源评价，安新县城范围内总地热资源储量达20.6亿吉焦，总地热水量2.74亿方。2024年，华北油田按照雄安新区打造绿色城市发展典范规划，设计部署了安热1井、安热2井两口地热勘查井，投用后可供暖周边1000米内学校、住宅、政府办公楼等建筑33万平方米。安热1井和安热2井作为中国石油开启雄安地热市场的重要勘查井，不仅对于建设生态雄安、绿色雄安具有探索性意义，更是雄安新区建设方关注的焦点。
